Possible Additional Fees
These charges only apply in specific situations and will be communicated clearly.
Lost Key Fee
N$ 1,500
If the vehicle’s key is lost, a fee of N$1,500 will be charged to cover replacement costs.
Polishing Fee
N$ 3,000
If the vehicle is returned with scratches, a fee of N$3,000 will be charged to have the car professionally polished and prepared for the next client.
Claim Handling Fee
N$ 450
An administration fee of N$450 will be levied to cover the costs of processing an insurance claim.
Valet Fee
N$ 1,500
If the vehicle is returned with excessive dirt inside or stained upholstery, a fee of N$1,500 may be charged.
Traffic Fine Fee
N$ 450
If the renter receives a traffic fine and does not pay it before leaving the country, an admin fee of N$450 will be charged.
One Way Fee
Variable
When a vehicle must be delivered or collected at a different location than Windhoek, an additional fee is charged. This is calculated according to the applicable AA rate per kilometer and will be indicated on your quote.
